‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story’ Joins Netflix’s All-Time Most Popular List

According to Deadline, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story has entered Netflix’s all-time Most Popular List. It became one of Netflix’s most popular English-language TV series of all time with 80.3 million views and replaced The Watcher at the tenth spot on the list.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story debuted on Netflix on May 4 and stars Golda Rosheuvel (Bridgerton, Lady Macbeth), India Ria Amarteifio (The Evermoor Chronicles, Military Wives), Corey Mylchreest (Bridgerton, Elevator Pitch), Arsema Thomas (Bridgerton, Redeeming Love), Freddie Dennis (The Nevers, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story), Michelle Fairley (Game of Thrones, Gangs of London), Sam Clemmett (Cherry, Survivor), Cyril Nri (The Act, Julius Caesar), Ruth Gemmell (Fever Pitch, Band of Gold), and Adjoa Andoh (Invictus, The Witcher).

The series now joins both season one and season two of Bridgerton on the list. Season one is number four and season two is number eight. This is possible due to Netflix adjusting its viewership metrics in June, according to Deadline. Netflix extended the viewership window from 28 days to 91 days, which gave the series enough time to make the Most Popular List after not quite making it within 28 days of its initial debut. It still has time to keep moving up the list with under two weeks until its 91-day premiere window closes.

It is unknown how many views Queen Charlotte received during the week of July 17 to July 23 to push the series over the edge because Netflix only releases viewership numbers for the Top 10 shows each week.

The top spot of Netflix’s Top 10 for the week of July 17 to July 23 is season three of Sweet Magnolias, which just beat out season two of The Lincoln Lawyer. Both shows received about 4.6 million views. The rest of the list included season three of The Witcher with 4.2 million views, season five of Too Hot to Handle with 4.1 million views, Survival of the Thickest with 3.8 million views, Fatal Seduction with 3.2 million views, Quarterback with 2.9 million views, and season one of The Lincoln Lawyer with 2.1 million views.
