Prime Video’s upcoming Creed universe series Delphi has officially expanded its cast, according to Deadline. The series will continue building on the world established in the Creed films while shifting the focus to a new generation of fighters connected to the Delphi Boxing Academy.
The regular cast features Benji Santiago (Broadway’s The Notebook, Law & Order), Juan Castano (Rob Peace, What/If), Demián Bichir (Land, A Better Life), André Holland (Love, Brooklyn, Moonlight), Andre Royo (The Punisher: One Last Kill, Empire), Sofia Black-D’Elia (Remarkably Bright Creatures, Single Drunk Female), and Victoria Vourkoutiotis (Elsbeth, The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh).
In addition, we have an amazing group of recurring stars, including Wood Harris (The Wire, Creed), Niles Fitch (Forever, This Is Us), Dasan Frazier (A Different World, The Rookie), Graham Patrick Martin (Catch-22, Major Crimes), Brittany Adebumola (M.I.A., 4400), Rene Moran (Cross, Law & Order: SVU), Okieriete Onaodowan (Hamilton, Station 19), and Breanna Yde (School of Rock, The Haunted Hathaways).
According to Deadline, Delphi takes place at the Delphi Boxing Academy, the same gym tied to Apollo Creed and Adonis Creed throughout the franchise. The series follows young fighters as they attempt to establish themselves both inside and outside the ring while dealing with the pressure surrounding the Creed legacy. Production is currently underway in Los Angeles.
mxdwn has previously covered the early development of Delphi as Prime Video continued expanding the Creed universe into television. That earlier report focused on the official announcement of the series, highlighting how the project would shift attention toward younger fighters training at Delphi Academy while continuing the themes of mentorship and legacy established throughout the Creed films.
It was there that the project was revealed to be executive-produced by Michael B. Jordan (Creed III, Black Panther), with Marco Ramirez (Daredevil, The Defenders) serving as showrunner and executive producer. That coverage emphasized how Prime Video and Michael B. Jordan were positioning Delphi as a long-term extension of the franchise beyond Adonis Creed’s central story.
As of now, Prime Video has not announced an official release date for Delphi. However, with production underway and casting continuing to grow, more details about the series are expected in the coming months.
