Prime Video Reveals Trailer For Season Two Of ‘Invincible’ During New York Comic Con 2023

Created by Robert Kirkman (Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead), the first season of the animated series Invincible premiered on Prime Video in 2021. According to Deadline, the first half of the second season is set to premiere weekly starting November 3rd. The second half of the season will premiere in early 2024. In anticipation of the first half being released, Prime Video has revealed the trailer for season two of Invincible during the New York Comic Con panel.

The trailer can be viewed below.

The animated series is based on the comic book series of the same name by Kirkman, Cory Walker (Spider-Man Unlimited, Science Dog), and Ryan Ottley (The Amazing Spider-Man, Guarding the Globe). The series is produced by Wind Sun Sky Entertainment and Skybound North.

The series revolves around teenager Mark Grayson, voiced by Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead, Beef), and his father Nolan Grayson, voiced by J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man, La La Land), who is also a powerful superhero named Omni-Man. The first season revolved around Mark developing his own powers and coming to terms with a superhero lifestyle.

The official synopsis of the second season, as noted by Variety, states, “Still reeling from Nolan’s betrayal in Season 1, Mark struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear — that he might become his father without even knowing it.”

The voice cast also includes Sandra Oh (Killing Eve, Grey’s Anatomy) as Mark’s mother Debbie Grayson, Mark Hamill (Star Wars: The Last Jedi, The Empire Strikes Back) as Art Rosenbaum, Zachary Quinto (Star Trek, Margin Call) as Rudy Conners, Gillian Jacobs (Come Play, Community) as Samantha Eve Wilkins, Zazie Beets (Joker, The Harder They Fall) as Amber Bennett, Jason Mantzoukas (Big Mouth, The Dictator) as Rex Splode, and many more.
