Prime Video has released the official trailer for its upcoming action comedy series Ride or Die. According to Deadline, the series stars Octavia Spencer (Hidden Figures, The Help, The Shack) and Hannah Waddingham (The Fall Guy, Ted Lasso, The Hustle) and is set to premiere on July 15.
Created by Tessa Coates (Smothered, Sneakerhead, Massive Dad), Ride or Die follows longtime best friends Debbie Claybourne, played by Spencer, and Judith Burton, played by Waddingham. Their friendship is turned upside down after Debbie discovers that Judith has secretly been working as an international assassin. When a mission goes disastrously wrong and a dangerous figure from Judith’s past resurfaces, the pair are forced to flee across Europe while being pursued by law enforcement, rival assassins, and dangerous criminals.
The newly released trailer offers a first look at the duo’s chaotic road trip after Judith reveals her secret profession to Debbie. As gunmen pursue them across Europe, the pair must rely on their friendship to survive while uncovering the truth behind the failed mission.

Ride or Die is executive produced by Spencer through Orit Entertainment alongside Waddingham, Coates, Andy Muschietti (Mama, It, It: Chapter Two), Barbara Muschietti (The Flash, It, The Electric State), Irene Yeung (The Roommate, The Departed, The Grudge), Brian Clisham (Right to Try, Truth Be Told, Feds), and Stephanie Kluft (Right to Try, Feds, Lost Women of Highway 20). The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios, Amazon MGM Studios, Double Dream, and Orit Entertainment.
All eight episodes of Ride or Die will premiere on July 15 exclusively on Prime Video.
