Premier Date for Netflix’s ‘Lucifer’ Season 5 Released in Teaser Video

The first installment of Season 5 for Lucifer is set to release on Netflix August 21, according to Deadline. Netflix released a video with clips of Lucifer’s devilish good looks and moments in anticipation of the fifth season. The video is 66.6 seconds long and clearly the devil is in the details when it comes to this show.

The series premiered in 2015 and stars Tom Ellis (Isn’t It Romantic) as Lucifer Morningstar and his life living amongst humans in Los Angeles, ironically, the City of Angels. The show also stars Lauren German (The Divide) as Chloe Decker, Kevin Alejandro (Arrow) as Dan Espinoza, Lesley-Ann Brandt (Gotham) as Mazikeen, Scarlett Estevez (Daddy’s Home) as Trixie Espinoza, and Rachael Harris (The Hangover) as Linda Martin. The show has received 10 nominations, including a 2018 Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Breakout Show. The series is executive produced by Ildy Modrovich (CSI: Miami) and Joe Henderson (11.26.63).

Lucifer will potentially be returning for a sixth season, with recent news of Ellis agreeing to return as the title character indicating this. Watch the teaser for season 5, below:
