According to Screenrant, DC’s Peacemaker series is no longer just a side show, but a part within the new DCU. The episode shows Christopher Smith, played by John Cena (Faxt X, Freelance) and the rest of the group landed in Earth X when using the quantum chamber. This dimension is far from normal though, as it’s as its one where the Nazi run the world. Within the episode we see tiny cameos of characters from the 2025 Superman movie, such as Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies, X-Men: First Class) as Lex Luthor making a dealing with Rick Flag Sr, played by Frank Grillo (Creature Commandos, Boss Level).

Further information from Screenrant, In the finale, the dimension X is controlled by white supremacists. The scene shifts to Leota, played by Danielle Brooks (A Minecraft Movie, Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure), walking down a suburban street in search of Peacemaker, but she encounters trouble along the way. We then cut to an alternate version of Chris’s brother, Keith, portrayed by David Denman (Brightburn, The Office), who sees her and yells, “One got out!” This exclamation prompts a mob to start chasing after her.

James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, Suicide Squad) reports in an interview with Screenrant, about what will transpire, “It is not right now. I think that people should— that doesn’t mean there aren’t plans for these characters, but it’s not necessarily season three of Peacemaker. And then people should watch Episode 8 to see what happens, because maybe some of your questions will be answered in that episode by itself.”

According to Screenrant, it is still unknown how Chris and the group will be able to get back to their original dimension, while invading dangerous foes and obstacles along the way. While waiting on further news surrounding the plot and release date for season three, all current episodes and seasons of Peacemaker are available to stream on HBO Max.
