

The upcoming Harry Potter reboot series has received a notable statement from none other than Draco Malfoy himself. According to Screenrant, Tom Felton (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Forgotten Battle), who portrayed Draco Malfoy throughout the original film series, shared his enthusiasm for the reboot and for the new generation of actors who will bring not only his character, but the rest of the beloved cast, to life once again.
According to Screenrant, Felton shared in an interview with Jake’s Tale saying,” It’s exciting, isn’t it? I look forward to meeting the youngster. From what I gather- I can’t- don’t want to confirm it, but I think it’s shooting at Leavesden Studios as well. There will be a trailer or a dressing room with the word Draco Malfoy on again.”
According to Screenrant, Tom’s considerate action demonstrates his unwavering support for the reboot series, which will win over existing viewers and draw in new ones. He also shared a little insight for whoever will be playing his character. “I look forward to surprising whoever the youngster is… Definitely 100%, not for advice, but just to say enjoy it, and I look forward to meeting the young scalywag.”
According to a mxdwn post, what we currently know that the series is still in the casting process. The confirmed members that will be joining the reboot will consist of John Lithgow (Shrek, Dexter), Janet McTeer (Ozark, Kaos) and Paapa Essiedu (The Lazarus Project, Genie), while there is no confirmation Nick Frost (Into the Badlands, Hot Fuzz) is rumored to play the lovable half-giant, Hagrid. The actors that will portray Draco, Hermione, Ron, and Harry in the series are still unknown.
Currently, there is no confirmed release date for the reboot series, but some have rumored that the Harry Potter series will be scheduled for 2026.
