Jack Black will be supporting his new comedy web series at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. This will be his first time appearing at the convention since 2005.
Black has recently teamed up with Yahoo! and Shine America for a comedy web series entitled Ghost Ghirls, which will follow two paranormal investigators, according to Starpulse. Amanda Lund and Maria Blasucci serve as co-creators and stars of the show, and Black is reported to be guest starring in several episodes.
Ghost Ghirls was debuted at the South by Southwest Film Festival this March, which Black attended. It is rumored that he will bring along an exclusive episode to Comic-Con for the audience.
Director of Scripted Television for Shine America, Erica Bello commented on the new series creators saying, “They are exceptional writers and actors with a fresh comedic tone that is both funny and surprising. We are so excited to give Comic-Con fans a sneak peek of this hilarious series before the rest of the world can see it this fall.”
Ghost Ghirls is scheduled to premiere sometime this fall and will include Jason Schwartzman, Val Kilmer and Molly Shannon as guest stars, according to Starpulse.
