There are dozens of billboards for various televisions shows. But the new billboard for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D looks a little different.
This dark billboard is certainly a change of pace from billboards that try to give as much information as possible. This billboard, however, takes some investigation just to figure out what it is. Entertainment Weekly describes it as, “Simply the S.H.I.E.L.D. crest in glossy pitch black stamped against an equally black matte background. And that’s it. Just a mysterious black hole along the side of Barham Blvd. that does not mind if you understand it or not.”
The minimalist design is simple and mysterious. It is also, if you know what it is, very exciting. Joss Whedon’s new show starring Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson is much-anticipated. Coulson is coming back, after all!
