Paramount+ Adaptation ‘Halo’ Trailer Released During AFC Championship Halftime

Paramount+ has released the official trailer for its adaptation of the best-selling video game Halo, according to VarietyThe game is set in the 26th century and follows the adventures of Master Chief, played by Pablo Schreiber (Den of Thieves), a super-soldier that protects humanity for the United Nations Space Command.

The trailer teases Master Chief in action, showing the battles and alien planets to come. The series will star Natascha McElhone (Californication), Jen Taylor (RWBY), Yerin Ha (Reef Break), Charlie Murphy (Chappelle’s Show), and Olive Gray (Rose: A Love Story).

Having started development in 2013, Halo was ordered to series in 2018 by Showtime and began filming in October 2019. However, the show paused production in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It wasn’t until last February that it was announced that the show moved from Showtime to Paramount+.
