‘Orphan Black’ Sold Internationally

According to The Hollywood Reporter, BBC Worldwide has just sold the sci-fi drama to air in multiple countries.

BBC Worldwide has inked multiple deals to air the clone drama series internationally: it looks like SoHo Network (New Zealand), SBS (Australia), Numero 23 (France), DirecTV and BBC America (Latin America), KBS Media (Korea), YLE (Finland), DR (Denmark) and VRT (Belgium) will all start broadcasting the show soon.

Orphan Black, which originally airs on BBC America (USA) and Space (Canada), had already been acquired by BBC Three (UK) and AXN India (India) a few months ago, but will now reach a much wider range of countries in almost every continent.

The show starts the much-acclaimed actress Tatiana Maslany as seven different characters. Other members of the cast include Jordan Gavaris, Dylan Bruce, Kevin Hanchard and Maria Doyle Kennedy, among others.

The show’s second season will bow in the United States and Canada on April 19.
