‘Only Murders In The Building’ Casts Kumail Nanjiani For Its Fourth Season

According to Comicbook, the Hulu series Only Murders in The Building has added another huge star to the mystery series. The series has added Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick) as a regular to its upcoming fourth season. Nanjiani is known for many roles, such as Somen Banerjee in Welcome to Chippendales and Kingo in Marvel’s Eternals. Other than being important to the new season, there is little information on the character that Nanjinani will be playing.

According to Comicbook, the series’ official synopsis is as follows: “From the minds of Steve Martin (The Pink Panther), Dan Fogelman (Tangled), and John Hoffman (Good Boy) comes a comedy murder-mystery series for the ages. Only Murders In the Building follows three strangers who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio suspects murder and employs their precise knowledge of true crime to investigate the truth.

The synopsis continues: “As they record a podcast of their own to document the case, the three unravel the complex secrets of the building which stretch back years. Perhaps even more explosive are the lies they tell one another. Soon, the endangered trio comes to realize a killer might be living amongst them as they race to decipher the mounting clues before it’s too late.”

The cast for the series includes Selena Gomez (Hotel Transylvania), Martin Short (Saturday Night Live), and Martin. Cast members that will be joining the series for its fourth installment include Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) and Molly Shannon (Never Been Kissed). Meryl Streep (The Devil Wears Prada) is also set to reprise her role on the series as Loretta Durkin.

Only Murders in The Building is available to stream on Hulu. The fourth season of the murder mystery has yet to have a release window.
