‘One-Punch Man’ Has Premiered A Special Announcement Trailer For Its Third Season

According to Comicbook, the anime series One-Punch Man has recently revealed a special announcement trailer for its much anticipated third season. The trailer premiered earlier on Thursday and was shortly followed by a promo image as well as a season synopsis. 

Below is the official special announcement trailer for the third season of the series showcasing one of the antagonists of the season.

Created by authors ONE (Mob Psycho 100) and Yusuke Murata (Eyeshield 21) who wrote and illustrated the manga, the anime adaptation follows Saitama. With the popular Shōnen manga still ongoing, there is much more story to be adapted.

According to Comicbook, the synopsis for the third season shared by JC Staff and One-Punch Man staff is as follows: “Saitama is a hero who only became a hero for fun. After three years of  special training, hes become so strong that he’s practically invincible. In fact, he’s too strong-even his mightiest opponents are taken out with a single punch. Alongside Genos, his faithful disciple, Saitama performs his official hero duties as a member of the Hero Association.”

The synopsis continues: “One day, monsters claiming to be from the Monster Association suddenly appeared, taking a child of a Hero Association executive as a hostage. The S-class heroes gather and plan a raid on the Monster Association hideout to rescue the hostage. Meanwhile, Garou, a human monster who was taken by the Monster Association during a battle with the heroes, awakens in the Monster Association hideout.”

One-Punch Man is available to stream in both Sub and Dub on Crunchyroll  and Hulu. The third season of the series has yet to get an official release date, but many fans are anticipating the announcement.
