The Vampire Diaries has cast two fresh new faces that are sure to stir up trouble in Mystic Falls.
Russian model and actress Olga Fonda will take on the role of Nadia, who is described as “fearless, worldly, guarded and vengeance-seeking.” TVLine previously reported that Nadia would encounter Matt and Rebekah in a bar in Prague; as the role is recurring, she will have a part to play when they return home, as well.
TVGuide also reports that Kendrick Sampson has been cast in the role of Jesse, a Whitmore college student who catches Caroline’s eye on the first day of school.
Fonda has previously appeared in series such as How I Met Your Mother and Nikita. Sampson is best known for his work on Greek.
Nadia and Jesse will first appear in the Vampire Diaries’ fifth season premiere on October 10.
