Nyambi Nyambi Set as a Recurring Character on ‘The Good Fight’

The Good Fight is CBS series that premiered earlier this month; February 19th 2017. The political and legal drama picks up a year after the conclusion of the seven season long show The Good Wife. The Good Fight follows Diane Lockhart (played by Christine Baranski) after a financial scam forces her out of ridiculously named firm: Lockhart, Decker, Gussman, Lee, Lyman, Gilbert-Lurie, Kagan, Tannebaum, & Associates. The new show also involves recent political events and climates in the United States.

The first episode of ‘The Good Fight’ is entitled “Inauguration” and involves Lockhart’s motivation to make a change.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Oklahoma-born Nyambi will be playing Jay Dipersia, an investigator with the Chicago law firm which Diane and her goddaughter Maia (played by Rose Leslie) join. Like previous roles, Jay Dispersia is a clever and witty addition to The Good Fight. He forms a strange but functional friendship with Marissa Gold (Diane Lockhart’s new assistant who is played by Sarah Steele) as he attempts to teach her his investigative skills.

Nyambi Nyambi was most recently well known for his role as Samuel on CBS series Mike and Molly. Samuel is a Senegalese comedic and sarcastic waiter at Abe’s, the featured eatery of Mike and Molly. Like many sitcom sidekicks, Samuel’s conversations are often ironic and caustically comical, but is still loved especially by Carl and Mike. Nyambi co-starred for all six seasons of the show, and recently guest starred on the PBS drama show Mercy Street.

As of today February 26th three episodes are available online including the latest episode “The Schtup List” in which Nyambi Nyambi will appear according to Deadline Hollywood. Season 1 will contain 10 episodes total.
