Not Even the Ocean Is Zombie Free in ‘Fear the Walking Dead’s’ Newest Teasers

Fear the Walking Dead shows the beginning of the global zombie outbreak from the perspective of several Los Angeles residents and everything that unravels soon after.

According to Movieweb, since the return of The Walking Dead, AMC is now beginning to promote new episodes of Fear The Walking Dead.

In the season finale of Fear the Walking Dead, characters Travis (Cliff Curtis) , Madison (Kim Dickens), Nick (Frank Dillane) , Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey), Ofelia (Mercedes Mason), Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie), and Daniel (Ruben Blades) were preparing to depart on Strand’s (Colman Domingo) yacht. Elizabeth Rodriguez (Orange is the New Black) who portrayed Liza also revealed to Travis that she was scratched during the group’s first zombie horde encounter. So she asks him to kill her which he eventually does with great reluctance.

The newest teaser shows Travis bashing a walker’s face in with a bat and there’s also a brief clip of ravenous zombies underwater thirsting for flesh. The upcoming season of the zombie series will introduce new cast members including Dougray Scott, Daniel Zovatto, Arturo del Puerto and Veronica Diaz.

Fear the Walking Dead’s second season will feature 15 episodes which will be shown in two parts. The first of seven episodes will be released on April 10th while the remaining eight episodes will air sometime after in 2016. Among all key demographics, the series received the highest-rated first season of any show in cable history. Dave Erickson, Robert, Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, and David Albert serve as executive producers for Fear the Walking Dead.

Production for season two of the series officially kicked off about two months ago in the Baja peninsula in Mexico at Baja Studios. The Talking Dead (hosted by Chris Hardwick) will be shown after Fear the Walking Dead. The Talking Dead will feature Hardwick talking to the cast and producers of the series and will also show various celebrities discussing all the latest episodes of Fear the Walking Dead.
