Nominees for the 23rd Screen Actors Guild Awards Announced, ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Stranger Things,’ ‘Westworld’ and ‘American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson’ Lead

On Wednesday, Dec. 14, the nominees for the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced. The awards will be broadcasted on TBS and TNT on Sunday Jan. 29, 2017.

Coming just a few days after the announcement of the Golden Globe Award nominations, a lot of the nominations look the same. One big exception is that Orange is the New Black got nominated for two SAG Awards, whereas they were snubbed from the Golden Globes.

American Crime Story: The People vs. O.J. Simpson continued its triumphant award season run, with Sterling K. Brown, Courtney B. Vance and Sarah Paulson receiving acting noms for their roles. Brown was also the only actor from This Is Us to be recognized.

Stranger Things also continued to rack up the nominations, with Millie Bobby Brown also scoring a nomination, along with Winona Ryder and the show itself.
