Bates Motel has added another recurring role to its already expanded season two cast.
Via Deadline, Paloma Kwiatkowski has joined the cast of the Emmy-nominated A&E show. As Cody Brennan, a party girl who grows close to Norman (Freddie Highmore), she will attempt to show him “how having fun and acting out can sublimate pain—at least for awhile.” Executive producer Carlton Cuse has also hinted that her character may develop into a romantic interest for Norman.
The Bates Motel gig will mark Kwiatkowski’s first television role. She can currently be seen in “Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters”, her feature film debut.
