New Season Two Sneak Peek Of NBC’s ‘Night Court’ Shows Dan And Roz Reuniting

According to TVline, new Night Court season two sneak peek shows two old friends catching up in the New Orleans holding cell. The sneak peek shows Marsha Warfield (9-1-1) reprising her role as Roz from the original ‘80s series. The new season of the series is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, January second on NBC

According to TVline,  Roz is first seen at the end of the first season appearing as a defendant in the New Orleans courtroom where Dan is now serving as a judge. As seen in the sneak peek Dan visits Roz in a holding cell which she was placed in after being arrested for throwing a bouncer through a window during a Bachelorette party. 

In the sneak peek, Roz even states how she is no longer a bailiff and has now become a private investigator. She says in the trailer, “I’ve broken up more marriages than Vegas and nanny cams combined.” Plus, she jokes to Dan that she’s marrying a woman who “was a person, but she gave it up to be a lawyer.”

Night Court, a series that aired earlier this year and follows Judge Abby Stone, the daughter of the late Harry Stone,  who follows in her father’s footsteps as she presides over the night shift of a Manhattan arraignment court. The series is a sequel to the 1984 sitcom of the same name

The series cast includes Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory) as Abby Stone, India De Beaufort (All Hail King Julien) as Olivia Moore, Kapil Talwaker (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) as Neil, Lacretta (Gotham) as Donna Gurganous, John Larroquette (Texas Chainsaw Massacre) as Dan Fielding, and many others. 

Night Court is available to stream on NBC, Peacock, and Hulu. Season two of the series will premiere on January second.
