During Jump Festa 2025, it was announced that the series is scheduled to premiere in April 2025.

Below is the trailer for My Hero Academia: Vigilantes.

As per Collider, the description of the manga series posted by Viz Media is as follows: “Koichi Haimawari couldn’t make the cut to become an official hero, so he uses his modest Quirk to do good deeds in his spare time. Then one day a fateful encounter with some local thugs leads him to team up with two other unlikely heroes. None of them really know what they’re doing, but they’ve got the courage—or foolishness—to try. But they soon discover fighting evil takes more than just being brave…”

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes will focus on the lives of individuals not in the regular series although some will make random appearances. This spinoff shows just how hectic things get for heroes who couldn’t get their hero license but still attempted to be heroic.

Below is the promotional poster for the series.

The new series appears as My Hero Academia reaches its final run as the eight and final season of the series premieres in 2025. The manga for the series also concluded this year wrapping up the franchise but setting room for the spinoff’s to take the stage. My Hero Academia follows the story of Izuku Midoriya also known as Deku and how he became the number one hero. Although he starts off with a rocky start as he is quirkless and has no abilities he eventually gains the power to protect his friends and everyone around him.

My Hero Academia is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
