Netflix’s ‘Netflix is a Joke Fest’ Announces Dates and Lineup; Jerry Seinfeld, Seth Rogan and Taylor Tomlinson and Many Others Join the Performer List

Stand-up comedy fans are in for a treat. Every year, Netflix hosts a massive comedy festival called Netflix is a Joke Fest, and the lineup is starting to spill out. This year The streaming company invites comedians from around the world to take part in their 11-day event that provides audiences with over 300 different comedy shows. 

According to the Netflix Tudum announcement, Robbie Praw, who is the VP of Stand-up and Comedy formats for Netflix, said in a statement, “This is a special time for comedy, both for Netflix and the genre at large. We have the privilege of working with comedians who are selling out arenas, winning awards, and building fandoms in the millions. In the 10 years that we’ve been doing stand-up, we’ve seen the art form reach levels we didn’t think possible. This festival aims to capture this moment by bringing together the world’s best comedians for an unforgettable 11 days.”

So who is going to be there? What comics that make us all laugh until our stomachs hurt are fans going to be able to see? Well, the full list is not entirely out yet. But, the list so far is littered with talent from all over. These include Ali Wong (Beef), Bill Burr (The King Of Staten Island), Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso), Chris Rock (Everybody Hates Chris), David Letterman (Late Night), Jerry Seinfeld (Seinfeld), John Mulaney (Saturday Night Live), Jon Stewart (The Daily Show), Kevin Hart (Ride Along), Leslie Jones (Saturday Night Live), Maya Rudolph (Saturday Night Live, Big Mouth), Nick Kroll (Big Mouth), Sarah Silverman (School Of Rock), Seth Rogen (Superbad), Taylor Tomlinson (After Midnight), Tim Robinson (I Think You Should Leave), Trevor Noah (The Daily Show), and Wanda Sykes (Curb Your Enthusiasm), just to name a few. Netflix Is a Joke Fest will take place from May 2 to May 12 in Los Angeles. Tickets for all the events from the festival will be sold on NetflixIsAJokeFest.com and will go on sale at 10 a.m. PT on December 15.
