According to Comicbook, Netflix has recently revealed the release date and trailer for the final season of their animated series Disenchantment. The series will be returning to the streamer in the fall for its fifth and final season. It has been a while since the fourth season which aired in February 2022 and left many fans confused with the last episode being a cliffhanger, which hopefully will be cleared up with the fifth installment.

The series is set in a fictional medieval kingdom called Dreamland and follows the adventures of its rebellious and alcoholic princess Bean. Bean journeys through the world with her companions Luci, a demon, and Elfo, an elf, in search of different adventures. The series cast includes Abbi Jacobson (Broad City), Eric Andre (The Eric Andre Show), Nat Faxon (Bad Teacher), John DiMaggio (Perry Mason), David Herman (Bob’s Burger), Maurice LaMarche (Zootopia), Tress MacNeille (Animaniacs), Billy West (Big City Greens), Rich Fulcher (The Mighty Bush), Matty Bery (Toast of London), and many others.

The misadventures of hard-hitting, hard-drinking Queen Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo and her personal demon Luci culminate in an epic battle for Dreamland in the fifth and final installment of Matt Groening’s comedy fantasy series Disenchantment. To save Dreamland from Queen Dagmar’s wicked rule, Bean must vanquish her mother and outrun a prophecy that foretells she will kill someone she loves. The stakes are as high as ever as our heroes face Satan, a headless corpse, an evil scientist, and most terrifying of all their true destiny.”
