The Netflix original spy thriller series, The Recruit is being renewed for second season, according to Variety. The series stars Noah Centineo (Black Adam) as well as many others.

Showrunner and executive producer Alexi Hawley (The Rookie) in a statement with Tudum stated, “I’m thrilled to dive back into the fun, funny, action-packed world of The Recruit. Seeing how invested our audience became in the show’s adventurous take on the spy world and Noah’s turn as Owen has been incredibly rewarding, and I can’t wait to turn it all up to “11” in Season Two.”
According to Variety, Season one of the series follows young CIA Lawyer by the name of Owen Hendricks. During the first week on the job, Hendricks’s life turns upside down as he discovers a threatening letter from a former asset who wants to reveal all the secrets that the agency holds to the world. This will take place unless the set asset Max Meladze played by Laura Haddock (Guardians of the Galaxy), is exonerated from all her previous serious crimes. Due to this Hendrick is faced with many difficulties and dangers as he maneuvers through high-power politics and players while trying to make his mark in the CIA.
