Netflix Releases Trailer For ‘Stranger Things 4’ Vol. 2

Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming second part of the fourth season of Stranger Things. The fourth season’s second part will be released on to the streaming service on July 1st.

The show’s logline, according to Deadline, reads: “It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”

Stranger Things 4 Vol. 1 became the most popular English-language TV series on the Netflix all-time list, gaining  286.79 million hours of viewing time worldwide from May 25-27, the show’s opening weekend. The previous record-holder, which was season two of Bridgerton, had almost 100 million less viewing hours, receiving 193 million in its opening weekend in March.

The entire cast will return in the upcoming second part of season four, which includes Winona Ryder (Edward Scissorhands), David Harbour (Black Widow), Millie Bobby Brown (Enola Holmes), Finn Wolfhard (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Gaten Matarazzo (The Angry Birds Movie 2), Caleb McLaughlin (Dora And The Lost City Of Gold), Noah Schnapp (Hubie Halloween), Sadie Sink (All Too Well: The Short Film), Natalie Dyer (I Believe In Unicorns), Charlie Heaton (Shut In), Joe Keery (Free Guy), Maya Hawke (Fear Street), Priah Ferguson (The Oath), Brett Gelman (The Other Guys), Cara Buono (Person Of Interest), and Matthew Modine (Full Metal Jacket). Joseph Quinn (Game Of Thrones) joined the cast this season and will return in Vol. 2, starring as new fan-favorite Eddie Munson.

Stranger Things is executive produced by Matt and Ross Duffer (Wayward Pines), Shawn Levy (Night At The Museum), Dan Cohen (Killing Gaza), and Iain Paterson (Hidden Agenda).
