Netflix Releases Final Trailer for ‘Jessica Jones’ the Badass and No-Nonsense Super-Heroine

The premiere of Netflix’s original series “Jessica Jones” is around the corner. IMDb states that character Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is a former super-heroine who wants to start fresh as a private investigator. The past teasers and trailers also reveal some of the other characters on the show. There’s Luke Cage (Mike Colter), who in Marvel’s comic book series is actually married to Jessica Jones. And let’s not forget that every super hero has its nemesis who the hero will continually face. In “Jessica Jones,” that super villain is Kilgrave a.k.a. Purple Man (David Tennant) who has mind-control abilities. Yes, mind-control powers, good luck Jessica Jones! Jessica Jones abilities include superhuman strength, high tolerance for pain, and being able to consume superhuman amounts of alcohol. Well, let’s just say she has an above average tolerance for alcohol compared to most people. See for yourself in the trailer:

The trailer immediately shows Luke Cage, who is seen bartending and telling customer Jessica Jones, “lot of booze for a small woman.” Then there are brief instances of Jessica Jones kicking ass followed by clips of Purple Man manipulating the minds of multiple people. We also see Purple Man consistently toying with Jessica Jones. Then there’s the scene in a police station where Purple Man has everyone there (police and civilians) pointing guns at each other and to themselves. This is then followed up with heroine Jessica Jones threatening to kill Purple Man to which he confidently responds “but you won’t because you don’t know what will happen when I die.” Jessica Jones is faced with the moral dilemma of whether or not all the people at the police station will die assuming she kills Purple Man.

The Netflix series “Jessica Jones” is correlated to Netflix’s hit show “Daredevil” and is the second installment of the separate superhero series which will ultimately establish and connect the superhero ensemble: The Defenders (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist).

Back in late September and early October, we reported on the first, second, and third teasers for “Jessica Jones.”

We also reported on the first official full length trailer for the series in late October.

“Jessica Jones” will premiere on Netflix on November 20th.
