Netflix has released a teaser for its upcoming adaptation of the 1998 Japanese anime series, Cowboy Bebop, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The teaser, entitled “The Lost Session,” was released specifically to promote the show, but will not be featured in the regular series.
The teaser trailer featured John Cho (Searching) as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir (Marvel’s Luke Cage) as Jet Black, and Daniella Pineda (Mercy Black) as Faye Valentine. Cowboy Bebop, which was first ordered with 10 episodes in 2018, follows the lives of a bounty hunting crew who travel in their spaceship called the Bebop.
The show’s latest teaser shows the characters in a chaotic and unexpected sequence of fighting the solar system’s most dangerous criminals. The show’s official trailer can be expected as soon as next week. However, the teaser trailer is available to watch below.
