Netflix Drops Season 2 Release Date and Teaser Trailer for ‘Dead to Me’

The Netflix black comedy, Dead to Me, has released its teaser trailer for its second season, according to BBC America. The streaming series debuted in 2019 and announced its second season premiere date to be May 8. Created and produced by Liz Feldman (All That and 2 Broke Girls), the comedy is produced by the comedy actors and writers duo of Will Ferrell (Saturday Night Live and Anchorman) and Adam McKay (Step Brothers and The Other Guys). 

Dead to Me follows the relationship between Jen Harding and Judy Hale as the two met at a therapy group following the death of Harding’s husband Ted. Harding is portrayed by Christina Applegate (Anchorman and Married…with Children) and Hale is played by Linda Cardellini (Freaks and Geeks and Bloodline). The series also includes James Marsden (27 Dresses and The Butler) as Steve Wood and Max Jenkins (The Mysteries of Laura) as Christopher Doyle. The additional cast consists of Sam McCarthy (The Jim Gaffigan Show), Luke Roessler (It Chapter Two), Suzy Nakamura (Curb Your Enthusiasm and Avenue 5), and Natalie Morales (White Collar). 

The new season of Dead to Me is composed of ten half-an-hour episodes and will be released on Netflix on May 8. Check out the season two teaser trailer below:
