Netflix Cancels ‘Half Bad: The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself’ After Just One Season

According to Deadline, Netflix has canceled the British Fantasy drama series Half Bad: The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself. The cancellation comes just one month after the series premiere.

The eight-episode season dropped on Netflix on October 28th of this year.

Half Bad: The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself is based on the young adult novel Half Bad by Sally Green (Half Wild, Half Lost). The series follows Nathan Byrne, played by Jay Lycergo (The Batman, Listen) as he discovers the true identity of his Father. Nathan, an illegitimate child, works hard to not follow the same path as his Father, who he later discovers is Marcus Edge, a dangerous witch played by David Gyasi (Cold Blood Legacy, Carnival Row), via Deadline.
