Neil LaBute To Create A Sitcom For NBC

The playwright and filmmaker continues his stride into television. Neil LaBute’s Harmony House sitcom is being taken on by NBC, according to Indiewire.
The half-hour comedy is written and executive produced by LaBute and concentrates on “a young psychiatric resident who falls in love with patient at the mental institution at which he’s just been hired,” according to Indiewire.

LaBute’s first step into television Full Circle is premiering on DirecTV next month. Based on “La Ronde,” the series will air for 10 episodes.

LaBute also has 10 short films coming to DirecTV late fall.
