Audiences are anticipating the release of the newest series of NBC’s Suits: LA. According to NBCUniversal Media Village, the show has just released the trailer and key art. The show, written and executive produced by Aaron Korsh (Pearson, Everybody Loves Raymond) and a handful of Suits alumni, is thrilling and drama-filled. Those interested in the Suits alum can read about the cast in a previous mxdwn article. The show, starring Stephen Amell (Code 8, Calamity), Lex Scott Davis (Ricky Stanicky, A Lot of Nothing), Josh McDermitt (Last Looks, Middle Man) and Bryan Greenberg (Junction, You People), tells the story of Ted Black, played by Amell, and his law firm.” In a previous mxdwn article, Lex Scott Davis teased fans about the original cast returning, saying, “It’s not impossible.” According to the article, they also filmed a pilot in April.
The spin-off of the original show Suits starring Gabriel Macht (Beverly Hills, 90210, The Others) gave fans a lasting impact and wanting more. According to a previous mxdwn article, “Suits is a legal drama that follows corporate lawyer Harvey Specter and his team. The series ran for nine seasons from 2011 to 2019 and witnessed old and new rivalries surface among members of the team as they learned to deal with their new members.” Like the old series, the new series follows a similar storyline and will have fans hooked.
The official synopsis of the new series is as follows: “Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career. Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. All of this is going on while we slowly unravel the events that years ago led Ted to leave behind everything and everyone he loved.”
There are also new cast members that will be joining Suits: LA. As mentioned in a previous mxdwn article, Troy Windbush (The Cosby Show, Meet My Mom) and stars like Suits alum Macht will be making a guest appearance.
