According to Deadline, NBC has just dropped the first official trailer for the Suits spinoff, Suits LA. The trailer showcases the new series having much in common with the original, as it shows how it looks and feels like the original, comparing Suits’ opening and ending credits.
Below is the teaser trailer for the series that showcases the Los Angeles skyline as a backdrop.
Aaron Korsh (Pearson, Paradise Pictures) created Suits LA, which follows Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, trying to reinvent himself by representing some of the most powerful clients in Los Angeles, California. Black’s firm is in dire need of survival as he must endure a role he held in contempt for his entire career. While trying to progress the firm, he surrounds himself with different individuals who test their loyalty to him and each other as they mix their professional and personal lives. All this occurs while revealing more of the firm’s beginnings and Ted’s history.
The series cast includes Stephen Amell (Arrow, The Flash) as Ted Black, Bryan Greenberg (How to Make It in America, Friends with Benefits) as Rick Dodsen, Josh McDermitt (The Walking Dead, The Loudest Voice) as Stuart Lane, Lex Scott Davis (Ricky Stanicky, Florida Man) as Erica Rollins, Troy Winbush (Grey’s Anatomy, The Replacements) as Kevin, Nathan Witte (Superman & Lois, Must Love Chritsmas) as Garrett and many others.
Korsh serves as writer and executive producer on the series. David Bartis (Edge of Tomorrow, The Wall), Doug Liman (Swingers, Road House), Gene Klein (Impulse, Covert Affairs), Anton Cropper (Fantasy Football, Black-ish), Genevieve Sparling (Smallville, Suits Webisodes), Rick Muirragui (Men of a Certain Age, Whiskey Cavalier) and Jon Cowan (Bionic Woman, Panhandle) also serve as executive producers.”
Produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, Suits LA premieres on NBC on February 23, 2025. The series will also be available to stream on Peacock.
