NBC Puts ‘Parks and Recreation’ in Hiatus

It looks like Parks and Recreation will be “shelved” until November 14.

NBC has announced big changes in its scheduling that will debut this Thursday, October 24th. According to Vulture, in a desperate move to save the show Sean Saves The World, it looks like Parks and Recreation will be forced to go on a hiatus for three weeks.

This Thursday, a repeat of The Voice will sub in for P&R and next week there will be a special Halloween themed Saturday Night Live clip in that time-slot.

The show is expected to come back in November, but only for two episodes, and will not resume again until January.

This doesn’t necessarily mean the show is doomed to an end; that said, it doesn’t look very promising to take a show off the schedule so early in the season, even if only for a hiatus.
