Former NSA contractor Edward Snowden will have his first-ever American television interview on NBC Nightly News.
Anchor and managing editor Brian Williams conducted the interview in Moscow this week. In this exclusive interview Williams has a rare and revealing in-person conversation with Snowden. The interview took place over the course of several hours and was kept secret because of Snowden’s life in exile. Snowden is known for leaking classified documents regarding U.S. surveillance programs a year ago. There was also a joint interview with Snowden and Glenn Greenwald about how the two came together and the global debate created by their revelations.
The NBC Nightly News interview airs on Wednesday, May 28 at 10/9 pm Central on NBC.
