The actress, who just finished a stint on NBC’s Chicago Fire, has already booked another arc, this time in BBC America’s Orphan Black, says TVLine.
The forty-nine-year-old actress will portray Marian Bowles, “a powerful new player at the Dyad Institute with a birds-eye view on the war between Sarah and Rachel.”
“I am ecstatic to be invited to play with this extraordinary company and on such a deeply complicated, mysterious, and emotional story,” said Michelle Forbes after the announcement was oficially made. “I could talk to the highly intelligent show-runners and writers all day long as the issues they’re tackling are vast, to say the least. It’s truly original and clever, not to mention its wit delights me to no end.”
Forbes will be joining a list of other guest-stars which includes Patrick J. Adams, Michael Huisman, Peter Outerbridge and Ari Millen.
The second season of Orphan Black will premiere on Saturday, April 19.
