True Blood’s Michelle Forbes has joined the sophomore season of NBC’s drama Chicago Fire.
The actress will take a reoccurring role in Dick Wolf’s Chicago Fire as it enters its second season, explains the Hollywood Reporter. Forbes will play high-ranking consultant with the State Fire Marshal’s Office, Gail McLeod, who keeps a sharp eye on budgets and performance at the city’s firehouse.
In addition to her role as Maryann Forrester on HBO’s True Blood, Forbes has played Mitch Larsen for two seasons on AMC’s the Killing. She is repped by UTA and Hofflund/Polone.
Chicago Fire was created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas. Season two premieres on September 24 at 10 p.m. on NBC.
