MGM+ Renews Original Series ‘From’ For A Third Season

The first season of the series From first debuted on MGM+ in February of 2022 and was quickly renewed for a second season. The second season premiered in April of 2023, and fans were hoping for another quick renewal. According to Deadline, fans no longer have to wait as From has been renewed for a third season, which is set to premiere sometime next year.

Created by John Griffin (Crater, Magic: The Gathering), From revolves around a town that does not allow any residents to leave once they enter. At night, creatures come out and residents must learn to survive in this real-life nightmare.

Stars of the series include Harold Perrineau (Oz, The Best Man) as Sheriff Boyd Stevens, Catalina Sandino Moreno (Barbarians, Incarnate) as Tabitha Matthews, Eion Bailey (Extortion, Mind Hunters) as Jim Matthews, Elizabeth Saunders (Clarice, Girl) as Donna, and more.

According to Deadline, From became one of the most viewed series on the MGM+ network. The only series that garnered more views was Godfather of Harlem created by Chris Brancato (Hoodlum, Narcos) and Paul Eckstein (Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Narcos).

The second season of From ended with more secrets about the town coming to light and the residents becoming more equipped to stand against the horrific creatures.

As Deadline notes, the head of MGM+ named Michael Wright spoke about the series. He stated, “The first two seasons of From captivated critics and terrified and engaged fans, who have formed a thriving online community that is trying to put the pieces together week by week as the secrets of the nightmarish town—and possibly beyond—are slowly revealed. We can’t wait for fans to see the surprises ahead in season three, which promises more scares and mysteries, but also more answers.”

Fans of drama and horror can rejoice in the news that there will be a third season of From on MGM+ to look forward to.
