Marvel’s Inhumans TV Series

What’s more important in the Marvel universe? Now that the Marvel’s The Inhumans is coming to ABC later in the year, it is a welcomed sight. The Inhumans is also premiering at a special-in-theatre  too this fall. The Inhumans royal family were rumored and reported online, but the creators are still hush hush on who will be cast.

Although, that’s might no longer be the case, as ThatHashtagShow received a tip with a SAG-AFTRA casting call for the series. The casting call breaks down the principal cast, with seven characters that are codenamed but very clearly representing the members of The Inhumans core royal family.

The names mentioned are names like “Broderick” and “Marty,” but there’s little question this is for The Inhumans. According to Deadline, the newly minted Inhumans series is scheduled to air on ABC in 2017, and will focus on the core characters from The Inhumans comic books: the Attilan Royal Family, a group that includes characters like Black Bolt, Medusa, Karnak, and Lockjaw. So, the premiere will not be dull.

These characters seem to be described as a close-knit family and even may be violent. Marvel announced that the company has greenlit a The Inhumans TV show that will debut in theaters for a limited two-week run through a new partnership with IMAX. The agreement also includes IMAX helping to finance the pilot and the whole entire series, which is a first for the company.

Marvel announced an Inhumans movie back in 2014. Marvel has established movies such as Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, and Avengers: Infinity War. The movie was supposed to be presented in November 2018 but later bumped to 2019 and removed entirely later in the year. As stated by Marvel Studio’s president Kevin Feige had commented to Collider that despite the company taking Inhumans off the schedule, it was still a question of when. An ABC show makes sense for The Inhumans in many ways.

There is still no word whether the TV show will jump to the movies, or even if The Inhuman characters will meet with other Marvel comic characters like the Avenger. It all depends on the creators of the show’s franchise. Right now, talks are still going and word on its casting will soon be announced. Marvel’s The Inhumans will air on ABC in September 2017.
