Marvel’s ‘Daredevil’, ‘Luke Cage’, and ‘Iron Fist’ contract

It turns out that the recently cancelled Marvel Netflix series (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron fist) will not be able to be brought into the MCU, Disney’s new streaming service Disney+, or Hulu until two years after they have been canceled. This will most likely also count for the remaining two series that Netflix has not cancelled yet. Even though The Punisher falls under a different deal it is still unknown if the two year clause is in play or if there is a similar situation.

The reason they can not be brought in is because of Netflix’s contract with Disney. The only way would if it was a Netflix series or movie. This would also include any other potential actor or actress since they would be playing that role of the character, so even if Disney wanted to start a new series of Daredevil with a new actor it would not be able to happen.
