Marvel’s ‘Agatha All Along’ Reveals A Major Character Twist

We’re halfway through Marvel Studios’ Agatha All Along, the latest spooky series to hit Disney+. Continuing the events from WandaVision, the show has kept fans on the edge of their seats with its blend of magical lore and mysterious characters. So far, one of the biggest questions around the show has been the identity of the enigmatic character known only as “Teen,” portrayed by Joe Locke (Heartstopper). As mentioned by Comicbook.com, in Episode five, we finally get an answer to this burning question, and it’s a game-changer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Spoilers ahead for Episode 5 of Agatha All Along!

According to Comicbook.com, the episode centers around another trial for Agatha, but this time with an ’80s teen slasher aesthetic. As the coven explores Agatha’s dark and deadly past, more is revealed about her strained relationship with her mother, who haunts her in ghost form. Just as tensions rise, Agatha kills Alice Wu-Gulliver, portrayed by Ali Ahn (The Diplomat, Anya, Social Distance) by draining her of magic, leaving Teen visibly upset.

As mentioned by Comicbook.com, in a dramatic confrontation on the Road, Teen challenges Agatha on her decision to kill Alice, expressing frustration with the coven’s justification for murder in pursuit of their goals. In response, Agatha cryptically remarks that Teen is “just like [his] mother.” This exchange sends Teen into a rage, leading to one of the episode’s most significant moments. Using a mysterious light blue energy that radiates from his fingertips, Teen traps Agatha, Jennifer Kale played by Sasheer Zamata (Spree, The Weekend, Woke), and Lilia Calderu portrayed by Patti Lupone (Life Goes ON, company, Glee) beneath the Road’s muddy surface. As this happens, a crown appears on Teen’s forehead, hinting at a deeper, more powerful identity.

While the episode doesn’t directly confirm it, the visual cues point to a fan-favorite theory — that Teen is an older version of Billy Maximoff, also known as Wiccan, one of the twin sons of Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch. According to Comicbook.com, the appearance of the crown, coupled with the magic Teen displays, suggests that the theory may finally be proven true.

With this revelation, Agatha All Along adds a fascinating new layer to the MCU’s ongoing magical saga. Fans will undoubtedly keep watching to see how this new identity plays into the future of Agatha and the larger universe, as the show continues to weave its spooky and spellbinding narrative.
