Marvel Announces ‘Agatha: House Of Harkness’ Will Be Renamed ‘Agatha: Coven Of Chaos’ At San Diego Comic-Con

Among Marvel Studios’ many announcements at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con was the announcement of the upcoming WandaVision spinoff series titled Agatha: Coven Of Chaos after the series was originally titled Agatha: House Of Harkness. Kathryn Hahn (Bad Moms) will return and star as Agatha in the upcoming series and the head writer of WandaVision, Jac Shaeffer (The Hustle), will write and executive produce the series, which is currently set to be released sometime during Winter 2023, according to ComicBook.com.

Elizabeth Olsen (Doctor Strange And The Multiverse Of Madness), who plays Wanda, also known as, Scarlet Witch, in WandaVision, did not sound hopeful to appear in the upcoming spinoff series when asked on Good Morning America in May.

“There is no plan and I’m serious,” Olsen said. “I’m not a good liar. I wish I had a plan, and I’m not sure.”

Olsen did express interest in appearing in the series if possible, however.

“I mean, I would do anything with Hahn,” Olsen said on Good Morning America. “I mean, no, I’m not appearing on it, not as far as I’m aware of. But I love that woman so much. So fun, that entire show [WandaVision] was just filled with lots of joy, it was great.”

It is currently unclear as to why Marvel Studios decided to change the upcoming show’s title. Based on the title change, it appears the series will feature a group of witches that could play a crucial role for phase five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige (Avengers: Endgame) said at Comic-Con would start with Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania when it releases in February 2023.

It is also unclear as to who else will star in Agatha: Coven Of Chaos or who will direct as the series is currently in development.
