Mark Ruffalo To Star In A New HBO Drama From The Creator Of ‘Mare of Easttown’

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mark Ruffalo (She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) will be starring in new HBO drama from the creator of Mare of Easttown, Brad Ingelsby (Hold on to Me). HBO has ordered limited series about a team of law enforcement officers and the criminals they will apprehend. Ruffalo will be starring in the series as well as serving as executive producer. The series was in the works before the Writers Guild of America went on strike but since the strike, there has been no further development for the series.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the currently untitled series will mark the return to HBO for both  Ruffalo and Ingelsby. Ruffalo won an Emmy in 2020 for the limited series I Know This Much Is True and also starred in the outlet’s 2014 movie The Normal Heart. Ingelsby won four Emmys for Mare of Easttown which he created and executive produced. For the upcoming HBO drama, Ingelsby will executive produce with Wiip’s Paul Lee (Dickinson) and Mark Roybal (Doubt), Jeremiah Zagar (Hustle), and Ruffalo. Nicole Jordan-Webber (A Star is Born) and Public Record’s Jeremy Yaches (We The Animals) are co-EPs.
