Many Hit Shows Facing Low Scores and Reviews Such as ‘The Witcher’ and ‘Secret Invasion’

It seems that many of the biggest television shows are all struggling. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Witcher and Secret Invasion have been facing very dismal feedback from viewers and critics.

The Witcher‘s showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich (Who is Erin Carter?) stated that the show was going to give Henry Cavill (Man of Steel) “the most heroic sendoff” in season three due to his departure from the show.

However, many fans found that the show’s last three episodes were very disappointing. In the episodes, the Netflix fantasy series had Henry Cavill’s character, Geralt of Rivia, in bed due to injuries. Geralt only rose from the bed at the very end for the final fight. Hence, the reviews speak for themselves. The IMDb score for this latest season of The Witcher greatly dropped. The series’ final two episodes also garnered the lowest numbers and ratings of the entire show in general. In regards to Henry Cavill and the fate of his beloved character, critics from AV Club stated that the actor “deserves a better exit,” and The Verge noted that the ending of his character was “a wasted opportunity.”

On the other hand, over at the other well-known streamer Disney+, Secret Invasion from Marvel has been accredited as being one of the biggest fails and flops of the widely popular studio. The season finale episode of Secret Invasion earned itself a Rotten Tomatoes score of 7 percent. Most have been calling and headlining the project starring Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) as “the worst-reviewed Marvel project ever.” This news parallels the third season of the widely popular Disney+ show The Mandalorian, which also faced a downward slope in its own Rotten Tomatoes score, with the lowest number at 57 percent.

Other series are facing similar weak reviews and scores, such as Paramount+’s new Taylor Sheridan’s (Yellowstone) project Special Ops: Lioness, which has a critic score of 57 percent and an audience score of 73 percent.
