The Nikita actress has just been cast in her new leading role, according to TVLine.

The newest CBS cop drama, hailing from Kevin Williamson, has just found its leading lady: Maggie Q.

The 34 year old Hawaiian actress will be cast as Beth Davis, a focused, determined and workaholic detective.

The show follows a group of detectives in LAPD who try and solve “stalking incidents”. Q was cast for the female leading role, starring opposite Dylan McDermott, whose casting was a confirmation that his former show, NBC’s Hostages, is indeed over and can be buried.

Maggie Q, best known for her role as Nikita in the namesake The CW’s show which ended in the first half of this season, also starred in a lot of movies, including 2014’s expected hit movie Divergent.
