According to Collider, the second season of Netflix’s Wednesday is right around the corner Luis Guzman (The Count if Monte Cristo), who plays Gomez Addams, promises that the second season will improve further following the first installment. While speaking with ScreenRant, Guzman states that the show “went into a different galaxy,” when it comes to the second season.
While speaking to ScreenRant, Guzman stated, “Oh, absolutely. I thought the first season was amazing, and I’m telling these guys, “How are you going to top this?” They went not into a different orbit or universe–they went into a different galaxy. You know what I’m saying? I tipped my hat to these guys, man, because they create a vision, and there’s Tim Burton (The Nightmare Before Christmas), and, wow, man. It’s all about the writing, and you have the most incredible, talented, gifted group of actors, and it just all works. That’s all I’m going to say.”
Wednesday follows the daughter of the interesting Addams family as she attends Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts. While at the school, she investigates a killing spree that has been happening in the town around outside of the school as well as her coming to terms with her emerging psychic abilities and uncovering secrets about her family’s past. The second installment will further see the character learn more about her surroundings and herself.
