According to TheWrap, Leah Remini joined The Exes.
Known for roles in The King of Queens and The Talk, Remini has signed for a part in The Exes comedy. She will play Stuart’s (David Alan Basche) sister Nikki, who is described as a no-nonsense, tough-talking sexy woman. Nikki’s 17-year marriage ends when she finds out that her husband had an affair. She goes to Manhattan to find comfort from her brother Stuart, who shares an apartment with two other guys.
This is actually Leah Remini’s return to the multi-camera sitcoms after six years since the CBS hit, The King of Queens, ended.
The Exes returns with new episodes on December 11.
