Lady Gaga’s Role In ‘Wednesday’ Season Two Revealed; Captivates Crowd Through Themed Performance At Netflix’s Tudum

According to an Instagram post made by Stereogum, Lady Gaga (A Star Is Born, Joker: Folie à Deuxperformed at Netflix’s Tudum 2025 last night, singing variety of her own songs through an “Addams Family” centered theme. Gaga’s role in the upcoming second season of Wednesday was also revealed, as she is set to play “legendary Nevermore teacher” Rosaline Rotwood.

Mxdwn reported that Gaga was officially cast to Wednesday’s second season back in November 2024, however, the details about her role were uncertain at the time. More than five months later, Netflix has confirmed that Gaga will make her guest appearance in Part Two of the show’s second season.

A sneak peek of Wednesday‘s second season was revealed at Neflix’s Tudum 2025, which showcases the first six minutes of the first episode “Here We Woe Again” according to mxdwn. The sneak peek delves into Wednesday’s operation towards chasing down a serial killer known as the Kansas City Scalper.

Stereogum mentions that Lady Gaga closed off Netflix’s Tudum 2025 with few of her own songs, which included “Zombieboy” and her monster hit “Abracadabra”, both from her latest album MayhemHer performance carried out a spooky theme, mirroring the aesthetics found throughout the Wednesday series. Notably, Jenna Ortega (Stuck In The Middle, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) joined Gaga during her performance of “Abracadabra”, sitting at the end of the table which Gaga danced upon. Part One of Wednesday‘s second season premieres on Netflix on August 6, 2025, with Part Two following on September 3, 2025.
