The Mission Control star has teamed with the series writer-producer for another comedy project, Deadline explains.
Back On The Farm will be a single-camera comedy based on Ritter’s idea with Maggie Bandur’s writing. Described as “Overboard meets Sweet Home Alabama,” it centers on a Hollywood actress whose life suddenly implodes, forcing her to move back to her family’s farm.
Universal Television is teaming with Ritter’s Silent Machine Entertainment to produce. Ritter and Lindsey Liberatore will executive produce.
