According to Deadline, the beloved animated sitcom King Of The Hill is reuniting its cast and creative team for a special panel at this year’s ATX TV Festival. Fans attending the event will be treated to an exclusive first look at the highly anticipated Hulu revival, which is set to premiere this summer.
The panel, scheduled for 7 P.M. on May 30 at The Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas, will feature series co-creators and executive producers Mike Judge (Beavis & Butt-Head, In The Know) and Greg Daniels (The Office, Upload), along with fellow executive producer and showrunner Saladin K. Patterson (Fraiser, The Wonder Years). Cast members Toby Huss (Halt & Catch Fire, White House Plumbers), Pamela Adlon (Better Things, Devil May Care) and Lauren Tom (Futurama, Andi Mack) are also set to appear.
As Deadline reports the event will include behind-the-scenes insights, memorable moments from the show’s original run and reflections on its legacy. Following the panel, ATX and Hulu will host a King Of The Hill-themed backyard barbecue, giving fans a chance to celebrate the show in true Arlen, Texas, fashion.
Originally airing from 1997 to 2010, King Of The Hill follows propane salesman Hank Hill, his quirky but lovable family, and their tight-knit Texan community. The revival brings back familiar faces including Hank, his wife Peggy, his son Bobby and his neighbors Dale, Bill and Boomhauer as they navigate life in a changing world.
The King Of The Hill reunion will contribute to an already packed ATX TV Festival lineup, which includes appearances by Seth Meyers (Saturday Night Live, Late Night With Seth Meyers), a Mad Men retrospective with Jon Hamm (Top Gun: Maverick, Your Friends & Neighbors), a Leftovers reunion and panels with creators from Andor, UNReal, and more.
The festival runs from May 29 to June 1 in Austin, Texas, according to Deadline.
