‘Killing Kennedy’ Hits Record For National Geographic Channel

As reported by TVLine, the TV movie has reached record ratings for NatGeo, with more than 3.3k total viewers.

Killing Kennedy, starring Rob Lowe and Ginnifer Goodwin as John Fitzgerald and Jackie Kennedy, has proved a success in ratings last Sunday.

It surpassed February’s Killing Lincoln with just 300 more viewers, granting the channel the greatest audience in its history. NatGeo says that the hashtag “#killingkennedy” was trending on Twitter in the USA during the telecast.

“The success we saw last night proved once again that authentic, smart television can not only be entertaining, but also be important, culturally relevant programming,” said David Lyle, National Geographic Channel’s CEO, “[It] is truly a testament to the drive of our [network] president Howard Owens, and the incredible collaboration and partnership we have with Scott Free Productions, Bill O’Reilly and the entire team that worked on this film.”

Killing Kennedy will air again this Friday, November 15, at 8/7c, and then again at 10 pm.
