
The story of Hell’s Kitchen’s blind vigilante is further expanding, with news on the Daredevil: Born Again’s third season production having recently wrapped up. According to Screenrant, the new season’s story will follow where the prior one ended with Matt Murdock, played by Charlie Cox (Echo, She-Hulk) now behind bars and chaos in running New York. However, certain familiar faces, including The Defenders , will also be returning, marking the reunion of Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones, Nightbooks); Luke Cage, played by Mike Colter (Evil, Plane); and Danny Rand, also known as Iron Fist, played by Finn Jones (Game of Thrones, The Visitor).”
According to Screenrant, with previous footage on the season, fans have known that Matt will not be in prison for very long, as the story will come in contact with Elektra, played by Élodie Yung (Gods of Egypt, The Hitman’s Bodyguard),whose motives remain a mystery. A photo gallery slideshow was shared on Instagram by Royce Johnson (The Blacklist, FBI), who has played Chief Detective Brett Mahoney across several Marvel series ,about him and the cast in what seems to be the wrap-up party.
Reported by Screenrant,, other characters that will be making an appearance are Wilson Fisk, played Vincent D’onforio (Hawkeye, Jurassic World), The Punisher, played by Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead, The Accountant) and Bullseye, played by Wilson Bethel (Untamed, All Rise). It remains unknown who the main antagonist that Matt and his companions will face will be. Will it be Wilson Fisk once again, or will a mysterious new villain emerge from the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike? The true threat has yet to reveal itself, leaving Matt and his allies to prepare for whatever danger awaits them.
While there has been no confirmed release date of the third season, it has been rumored that it will be scheduled to release sometime in March 2027.While waiting on further information of the season, audiences can rewatch the previous seasons of Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+.
